I just installed my new Slide Fire kit with the new trigger and muzzle recoil enhancer. I upgraded the kit with the new AR 15 MOD stock which is ambidextrous so my wife and I can both use it in slam fire mode. (I'm a lefty). The added bonus is how much tighter the new stock is over the one that came with the rifle. That was one thing that always bothered me about the stock 15-22 rifle. The stock had a lot of play in it and always felt very loose. Now when I set the Slide-Fire stock to the locked position everything is very solid and tight. Now I absolutely love this rifle!

You want the slide fire stock to be loose, too tight and it binds won't clear a mag.
Have you fired it yet?

I understand about how the slide fire works. I'm referring to when your not using the bang fire option. When you use the single fire option I like how much more ridged it is than the factory stock. My factory stock is very loose and sloppy even when new.

Granted its been a bit since I felt a factory stock I would say my slide fire is definitely looser. I did put a few strips of electrical tape inside my factory stock to tighten it up but the slide fire in locked position wiggles alot. Just my .02....

I think the newer MOD model stock which I upgraded to has a different setup I believe. It locks up tight on the tube. In the locked position there is no wiggle.
