My rifle shoots HV rounds fine with the suppressor with no failures. But when I use subsonic rounds the empties will eject but the trigger won't reset. Any suggestions.

I used CCi Quiet 22LR's at 710fps
I used Wnchester M22 Subsonic's no idea on fps, these were pretty accurate.

Sounds like the bolt is short stroking. It's running enough to extract and eject the cartridge but not enough to lock back the hammer. Is the bolt stripping off another round from the magazine and chambering the round? Is the bolt locking back on the last round? If no to either, the bolt isn't getting enough energy to fully cycle the action. The owner's manual does state that high velocity ammunition is needed to properly cycle the action. Many have gotten away with running standard velocity but it sounds like subsonic is not giving enough kick back to cycle the action.

It is stripping a round off of the magazine and it will lock back on the last round. Seems to be working fine except for the fact it won't reset the trigger.

CCI and Aguila standard velocity runs well in my 15-22's and will stay sub-sonic 99.9% of the time with a SiCo Sparrow and Dead Air Sandman suppressors. Both these rounds are running 1070fps.

CCI quiets are not designed for any semi-auto's and will not fully cycle the action without modification to the firearm.

Try CCI standard Velocity, they are cheaper then suppressor ammo and run very well.

I have tried the CCI subsonics too and they just don't have the gumph in them to push that bolt back enough.
I went thru most every kind of ammo in a search for some of my pistols and now my favorite is Federals. Because they work flawless in my wifes Ruger. On the other hand my PK is so finicky that Stingers are the only ammo with the power to push that slide back far enough.
There is a thread here somewhere here that discusses this and somebody mentioned that he swapped out his carrier bolt with one from a S&W pistol (don't know which) and it would work flawless with Subsonic rounds. It did show a pic and the bolt that was slightly different in shape.

CCI quiet would not function properly in the 2 m&p 15/22's or the Ruger 10/22 that I had. They are intended for bolt action guns. The CCI standard velocity functioned perfect in all of the above guns, and we're always sub sonic.
