Barrel thread

My memory is not what it used to be. I want to buy a 15-22 (non California) for a friend that is the beneficiary on my trust of my suppressor. It has been a while since I had my very old 15-22 barrel threaded. New models appear to have a flash suppressor. Is that somewhat easily removed to place the suppressor on? Thanks for helping this old man out.

Yes they are. Secure the barrel in a vice and twist it off. Only secured with a crush washer.
