Trigger Job Void Warrenty?

Right now I'm between the Springfield XD .45 ACP Compact and the S&W M&P .45 ACP Compact.
I'm used to hammer pistols and hate a lot of trigger weight. I just learned that Springfield will completely void your warranty if you have ANY trigger job done. Factory or otherwise

I'd like to know if that is the same with S&W. Would getting a trigger job done void the M&P .45's Warranty?

Let's say you are a clever fellow and install the Apex sear kit for a "trigger job" on your M&P .45.
I'll bet you would also be clever enough to put the factory parts back in before sending it back to S&W for warranty work, wouldn't you?

When I had to send in a S&W revolver for warranty work I insured that I had the factory components installed. I would never have a gun modified to the extent that it could not be returned to factory original condition.

Not true!! If SA Custom does the action job, it will not void the warranty. If CS said this, they misinformed you. Call their Custom shop. Same with SW, will not void warranty as long as their Performance Center does the work. If the work is done by an outside source then they have the right to void your warranty accordingly.
