I shot my first M&P pistol yesterday, and now I want one (or more). Unfortunately I missed some great prices on these guns at a recent gun show, so now i will need to order one. I have several FFL dealers who will handle a transfer for a small fee. Where can I find the best deal from an online dealer/wholesaler?

Thanks

Depending on model, Grant @ G&R sometimes has better prices than Bud's. I have ordered from both and have had no problems.

You might check on the auctions on GB. They seem to be having a run of Penny auctions for M&P's lately, and some have gone fairly low. And several dealers have them running with low starting prices. Don't forget to confirm the shipping costs first though in order to compare.
You may have to look for a while, but myself and several others on the forum here picked up cheap M&P 45's(less than $400 including shipping) last year. I can only guess that some of the distributors/dealers get a load of them or want to get rid of a quantity quickly and resort to GB at times. Good luck.

Not sure if this is a good deal or not, but Cabelas has 2 tone M&P on sale for $549. They have the pro M&P for $599. I am contiplating on the pro version. Check out their websight. Not sure how long this sale is going on.

Jet Guns has both the 9mm and the .40 cal FS for $439.00 with free shipping.

That's where I bought mine.

I am looking at a Cabelas 2011 shooting catalog (Pennsylvania) and on page 10 there is a 2 tone M&P (dark earth) comes with;
1)kydex holster
2) double magazine pouch
3) 3 magazines with speed loader
4) ear protection

All for the low price of $549.99
the store # of this kit is XM-21-7430
sounds like a lot of bang for the buck

my first purchase

Express police supply, $398 shipped.

That's the LEO price.

I'm not a LEO and I bought one at that price, then my brother who is not a LEO bought one also. Please check your facts.

The price is for a first responder, and the list of those who qualify is quite lengthy. Firemen, volunteer firemen, EMT's, any military service, security work, etc. etc. etc.... It's worth seeing if you qualify because $398 is a great price.

When you say "any military service", I assume by that it means retired from the military as per their website. Would that be a correct?

Active or retired. Coast Guard, National Guard, Air Guard, you can call and ask, but the restrictions are liberal.

i just picked up a 9FS for $449 at a local shop.

As one other said, it is the "First responder" price, however, they also now charge shipping. When I checked their site online (they are now OMB) and put the .40 compact in the cart to have it purchased, it came up with shipping cost of like $48.99 or something close to that. :( Still a pretty darn good deal for First Responder's, but your "deal" does get kind of eaten up by shipping costs. When I'm serious about getting one, I may call them to find out if they really do charge the shipping or not because if you look at their shipping page, it shows anything purchased online over $50 is free shipping, so it's kind of confusing.

***Update*** Just spoke with OMB/Express Police Supply and they said it must have been a glitch with their online shipping estimator and possibly because the firearm I was looking at is back ordered. But they said the shipping should be a flat $20.00 (at least for CONUS shipping) for shipping per firearm ordered. That is much better than the $48.99 that came up on the estimator. Which, upon looking at it, made me realize that it actually did add the $20.00 firearm shipping plus what would be the normal $28.99 shipping (shipping amount by price calculation) if it were normal goods being shipped. Anyway, that is the info, as of 4/6/2011 per OMB's firearms department directly. :)

I just called Express Police and was told my January BG 380 order is finally at the top of the list to get one of the next ones that come in!! :D

Wow! Maybe I should still put my order through even though the firearm I want is on backorder. I was going off their info that it was to come in on 4/13, but I guess if there are a ton of orders before me, that those might already be taken up. :(

Just picked up a new M&P compact in .357 sig here in Raleigh NC for $455 with factory night sights. Price without night sights is $399. The .40 S&W is the same price. Not sure of the pricing on the 9mm or the .45.

I bought my gun at a place called Lawmen's. If you live in this area and want to pick one up let me know and I will put you in contact with a great guy at the shop that can help you out.

By the way, I am new to this forum. Going out to the range with my new M&P for the first time later today. Can't wait!
