Best prices on M&P pistols?

Goschinsky Fin Feather Fur Outfitters

Fin Feather Fur in Ashland, Ohio sells all the common M&P9 and 40's for $469 and they always have a very good selection on hand.

They also carry the most complete inventory of Reloading Equipment and Supplies that I have ever seen. They always have special deals on popular ammo like the 525 round Bulk Pack of Federal .22 LR 36 gr copper plated HP for $14.95. It's about 75 miles from my home but it's always worth the trip.

Just picked up a new M&P compact in .357 sig here in Raleigh NC for $455 with factory night sights. Price without night sights is $399. The .40 S&W is the same price. Not sure of the pricing on the 9mm or the .45.

I bought my gun at a place called Lawmen's. If you live in this area and want to pick one up let me know and I will put you in contact with a great guy at the shop that can help you out.

By the way, I am new to this forum. Going out to the range with my new M&P for the first time later today. Can't wait!

I appreciate that, but unfortunately I'm on the opposite side of the country. However, maybe I'll see if they do anything online and/or ship. :D

+1 for lawmens, my dad just picked up an m&p 9 for 455 with night sights there, im on the waiting list for one without night sights for 398

They have an online store on their website, it seems to be a little lacking, but if you call, i bet they can ship one to an FFL in your area.

If any of you call or go to Lawmen's ask for Josh. He is my cousin and is a really good guy. I'm not sure if those guys get paid on commission, but if they do you would be helping him out also.

On a sidenote, I haven't checked prices on all their ammo but their .357 sig is cheaper than I have seen it anywhere. For ball ammo it was 14 and some change for a box of 50. That is the Speer Lawman practice ammo.

As one other said, it is the "First responder" price, however, they also now charge shipping. When I checked their site online (they are now OMB) and put the .40 compact in the cart to have it purchased, it came up with shipping cost of like $48.99 or something close to that. :( Still a pretty darn good deal for First Responder's, but your "deal" does get kind of eaten up by shipping costs. When I'm serious about getting one, I may call them to find out if they really do charge the shipping or not because if you look at their shipping page, it shows anything purchased online over $50 is free shipping, so it's kind of confusing.

***Update*** Just spoke with OMB/Express Police Supply and they said it must have been a glitch with their online shipping estimator and possibly because the firearm I was looking at is back ordered. But they said the shipping should be a flat $20.00 (at least for CONUS shipping) for shipping per firearm ordered. That is much better than the $48.99 that came up on the estimator. Which, upon looking at it, made me realize that it actually did add the $20.00 firearm shipping plus what would be the normal $28.99 shipping (shipping amount by price calculation) if it were normal goods being shipped. Anyway, that is the info, as of 4/6/2011 per OMB's firearms department directly. :)

I just got another gun from OMB and was charged NO SHIPPING. Don't know why you thought you were going to be charged.....

Lost,

You must be special I guess or have some sort of deal with them. Maybe you purchased enough firearms through them that they give you free shipping now? I don't know. When I called & spoke to the firearms dept a couple of weeks ago, they told me it was a flat $20 shipping fee per firearm for them to ship out to an FFL. That was whether or not it was ordered online, over the phone or via fax.

I ordered my .40c last Thursday online and ended up being charged $28.99 for shipping and they finally shipped it yesterday after getting all the paperwork in order and all that. It is due to come in on Monday to my FFL. So, I'm not even sure what happened with the $20.00 flat rate shipping that I was told about on 4/6 over the phone.

Considering the deal I got on the firearm, I didn't go nuts about the extra $8.99 in shipping. Of course I'd rather have the shipping be free and save the $28.99, but I have no basis to tell them that the shipping should be free except to tell them that someone else on the S&W forum gets their firearms shipped for free. I don't think that is going to work. :( Maybe when I order my next one through them I will call and order it and see what goes when I ask about shipping charges.

I think I know....

The free shipping ended on March 31 for most stuff, (5.11 tactical is still free shipping).

My BG380 was ordered before the deal ended. I have one more gun on backorder and another TRL1s and a bunch of range muffs, and those will ship for free when they finally ship.

That's a bummer!!! That is a lot to ship.... Kind of destroys the price. If I were you I'd call and ask for an adjustment, they have always been really good to me. Good luck.

Got it...that makes sense because I did see that their free shipping deals did end on 3/31.

I might call them and ask them about it. I guess they could always refund me some of the shipping price. :)

just bought a 5" two tone 9mm pro series for 580.00 that is with the call in fee thought that was pretty good

Cabela's has the M&P9 Pro Series 5" for $579.00 right now. Unfortunately the one closest to me was across state lines. With the FFL service it would have cost $604 + Tax. I found a local shop that had it in stock for $610.00 had to pick it up. Cost a little more but a gun stop and not a big box store got my money. :D

I thought it was a good price but I found a diffrent dealer in town 567. this is as cheap as I have seem for a pro

I wish all the big online stores would have had them in stock. Skipping the sales tax w/ free shipping would have made it a good deal even after the FFL fee.

Still happy. It's a great gun.
