Default M&P 40 Different versions

Hi all-

I'm new to the forum and looking at getting my first pistol. I have fired a few and I narrowed my choice down from an HK P2000SK and Sig 226DAK to the M&P 40. I am looking around for good prices and I see a couple different model numbers out there: 109303, 106303 and a 120075.

What are the differences and which would you advise and why?

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I must say that you have excellent taste. Here we go.
1. 109303 = No Mag Safety, No Internal Lock, No Thumb Safety. the version most people prefer.

2. 106303 = Thumb Safety Added. This has an added thumb safety. If you don't like it I believe it can be removed.

3. 120075 = Crimson Trace Laser Grips, No Magazine Safety or Internal Lock. The grip has a built in red dot laser.

As to which one is the better of the three. It boils down to personal preference and what you are comfortable with. Either way they are great pistols.

Model 109303 is what I have. I put an Apex kit in it and it's awesome. I know own a "few more" M&P's after getting this 40. Great gun and extremely accurate.

I , but I like this better.have the 109303.....I have added the Crimson Trace Laser my self and also a Streamlight TLR3 tactical light on the acc rail. It is my Night stand gun. The Light is extremely bright and the laser works well also. The overall pistol is fantastic! Feels great, Shoots Great! I love it! I traded in my Glock 22 a couple yrs ago for it and never looked back. I liked my Glock, but I Like this better.
