Default M&P and limp wrist

So, I brought my brand new M&P9 to the range with my kids.

We shot 2 boxes: one PMC Bronze FMJ and a WWB JHP.

When I was handling it, there were no jams whether they were slow shots or rapid shooting.

It jammed ever other shot when my kids were handling it. Some of the FTE situations had cartridges left dangling at the ejection port.

I guess limp wrist shooting is not a myth.

Yes, and that is not the hottest ammo, either.
I put the slightly lighter recoil spring ( 15#ISMI, available from Brownells) into my 4' M&P to accomodate "soft-handed" shooters with standard ammo.
Stock #:445-000-028
Mfr Part #:NP15R Retail Price:$8.95

Its great that you are getting the kids involved in safe shooting. This is a perfect example of how important a proper grip is, when handeling a semi-auto. Good teaching moment for the kids.

Interesting! I use a 9FS and 9C for new shooters and haven't had any problems with them limp wristing while on occasion the Glocks do.

I have read on the interweb, though, that any/every problem with a Glock is due to limp wristing
