After 79 years of hard use I'm going to augment these old
eye balls with CT laser sight. Any suggestions pointing me
toward a source with a good price on the LG-661 would
sure be welcome.

If you are left-handed like myself, they may not work out for you. My thumb blocks the laser beam. This is a known problem, and CT has been notified many, many times, but they seem to not care about the 15% of the population who are affected. When asked about making a true left-hand version to alleviate the situation, they say they don't see any problem!!! Their solution - change your grip and the way you've been shooting all your life! Great public relations.

Don't understand why Crimson Trace doesn't make "LaserGuard" sight for the M&P like they do for the Sigmas.

Guess I'd better raincheck this idea until I get a chance to
heft a M&P compact with a set of CT's on it. I was right
handed, but that was before I screwed up my shoulder,
which put me in the camp with the rest of you lefties.
