M&P Shield holsters and accessories?
M&P announced there were a whole bunch of holsters and accessories (lights/lasers/sights) available for the M&P Shield, but I can't seem to find any specific announcements anywhere. Anyone know what is being announced?

Will order a Raven holster by RCS/Raven Concealment Systems as soon as they are available. In the mean time I am using an older DeSantis IWB that I had for my M&P9c until that Raven was came in. I plan on getting the Trijicon HD sights (they do fit)

The Galco Tuck-n-Go holster made for the Glock 26 fits the Shield perfectly. Only $31.

I dug around in my drawer O' holsters, and found an OWB I had for a Glock 19. A good enough fit to do until I decide to get something else.
Oh, the accessory catalog was in the box with my gun.

I wish I had good news on this one. It became so hard to track, it was a paper work nitmare for us. Way back we had to stop. It you give a discount to one you have to be fair and do it for all the good forums and there are just to many.
Now we have done special runs for forums, the guys get together and pick a holster they can all agree on, the same holster. The gun could be different. When all that is done, we open a special link on that holster so they can order. Most times we need 50 holsters and give a deep dealer discount and a free Rush Service if its non stocked.
Someone here would have to be the captain of the project.
If that sounds like something that could happen. Start a thread and let us know.

I am a big fan of 2-clip IWB holsters like Crossbreed and Comp-tac Minotaur. They are very stable and secure.
I see a lot of people going for single clip holsters and wonder how much they move around or change their angle under daily activities? I also am looking at the Remora, but don't like having to remove and reinstall it when delivering a load of logs.

I can vouch for High Noon holsters! I had the Down Under for my G19 (the black cowhide), and the Hideaway for my Kimber Pro Raptor & one for my PM9. They are comfortable & well built! Since I have made the leap to Smith & Wesson exclusively for my handguns, I need to buy 3 more.

Anybody try a Shield holster from PJ Holster LLC | Simple, Practical, Affordable Holsters.
I'm about to give one a try. Looks like reasonable price and short wait.

Good question. The Kydex looks like it might be thick enough though. http://pjholster.com/wp-content/uplo...Shield-026.jpg

I went ahead and ordered one along with a mag carrier. Paul says that breakage is extremely rare and that he'll replace if broken. Will review when it comes in.

I ordered mine Sunday morning (4/22) and paid on-line using Paypal.
It was in my mailbox this afternoon (4/24).
It's a simple, molded IWB option.

Ha, you beat me to it Justin, I saw that you guys are listing the holsters for the Shields already.
I've told the folks over on the other forum that I am on all the time to try you guys.
Plus 1 to anyone here thinking of a High Noon Holster.
High Noon makes great stuff, I have their holsters and their Rock Steady Belt, best set up I have ever worn...............

I have the Kydex OWB on order from RKBA holsters. Can't wait to get it. Going mildly nuts waiting, but I'm not complaining, because it's worth waiting for quality handmade gear, and the 2-4 weeks stated on the website is more than reasonable. A week and a half down, just a little while longer.....

How is that working for you??
I have one that a friend gave me... it has been in the bag for sometime now (did not have a gun for it)... new, never used... if it works for the Shield I might use it until I get one from High Noon Holsters

Quite comfortable. I tried other Galcos. The black leather (much more expensive) was too bulky. No way will I bother with a Serpa. Try it out.

I've heard that the MA compliant shield may have a popup loaded chamber indicator similar to some Rugers. Would there be a special holster for these guns?

The manual says *some* have that pop up indicator. Mine does not have one. Could this be a state safety requirement .. like California?
