Brand new M&P .40 only about 350 rounds down range, figured it needed something. So I decided the rollstamping would be first I LOVE the white it just pops. Next is going to be the APEX Duty Trigger Job with AEK trigger.

You guys are dangerous, I knew I should not have opened this thread lol. went out and bought a soldering gun today and started doing some stippling. I'm going to do the contact points on the gun as well but just have one more of the back straps to go as I get used to how to do it since the back straps can be replaced, not so much for the gun itself so I want to be sure Im ready to do it before I do it to the actual gun.

@Jayman -- absolutely awesome. I was drooling at my computer.

Thanks guys! Started with the 9 Pro.....loved it and had to buy the 9c a few weeks later.......loved it just as much and wanted something a little different and bought the 45 which is a lot of fun! Hoping to add a Shield 9mm into the mix in the not too distant future.

Stippled grips and parts are from A2 Stippling (highly recommend Aaron's work and products), light on the FS M&P9 Pro is a S&W Micro 90 (not a bad light.....cost is nice and light is effective), and sights on the FS M&P9 Pro and 9c are Trijicon HDs (absolutely love them and very highly recommend them).

Some of my polish work. Check out my thread if you like it. Amazing prices

The work is great. Color is even. I like the blue. It may just be the flash, but it seems a bit too shiny for my liking.

Nothing really custom, but I guess lightly modified?

Titanium Refinish on slide and magazines.
Apex Kit
Talon Grips
LaserMax

I've never found stippling needed on a poly gun except in a few cases and those guns where sold as-is instead of taking a soldering iron to it. The M&P grip texture along with the ergos is perfect IMO.

I understand the removable grip panels can be replaced, but I never understood why you'd do it to the frame. Looking at it from a structural standpoint, melting and poking little holes in the plastic will thin out the walls and maybe, just maybe fail later down the line. I'm sure most who've done it will disagree, but it just seems like a possibility.

Now I do modify the internals, but only slightly. My current FS9 has the new Apex looking factory sear and reset so it's staying completely stock. If the Compact I won on GB comes and is of the older type, I'll throw in the Apex sear I have on hand from the Shield I had and polish/round the striker block.
