I began the firearm training portion of my police academy training last Monday. The week started off with safety training, weapon maintanence, shooting positions, and LOTS of dry fire drills. Finally on Saturday morning we began our live fire drills. We shot 500 rounds on Saturday and another 500 rounds on Sunday. (About 9 hours of training each day). My M&P performed flawlessly! Great trigger pull, sight picture was easy to obtain. The weapon was very accurate. (though I still need a little practice...) Absolutly ZERO issues. Great product from Smith & Wesson. Next live fire training session will involve night fire, and long distance pistol shooting (out to 50 yards...) I will post about this when I complete this next session.
