I was at the Range today and the trigger pin on my Shield 40 started working its way out. I pushed it back in with my finger, but it still is a tiny bit out. I plan to go up to Harbor Freight tomorrow and pickup a small punch. In the meant time, S&W is sending me a couple of extra trigger pins. If that doesn't work, I will need to send my gun back to them for repair.
Any tips on getting the pin back in its correct position?

impossible. the trigger pin is held in place by the take-down lever.

must be the locking block roll pin you are referring to:D

Very easy just tap it back in so it is evenly spaced between the sides of the frame. Call S&W and advise, they will send you out a new pin. If it continues to move, they will want you to send it back to them, or you can put a dab of LocTite on it.
