Has anyone used a a MGW sight pusher on a M&P 22 front sight? I have tried the hammer and nylon tipped pusher route, going from left to right and it won't budge. The slide doesn't fit 100% correctly in the MGW as I have to take off the adjusting plate to allow it to slide in the tool. I don't want to take a chance with it unless other have been successful using it on the .22.

I have replaced several front and rear sights on the M&P22 and they all just about fell out. You did loosen the set screw I hope.

LOL, yes indeed. But I had the pusher for another M&P so thought I might try it.

I called MGW to confirm that the M&P sight pusher does not fit the 22 pistol, only its full size brothers. The gentleman I talked to made the comment that he thought S&W was getting pretty liberal with the M&P labeling.

On a side note I applied some judicious heat to my front sight and managed to tap it out.
