Default California compliant M&P9 Pro C.O.R.E.

I live in California, and the only M&P9 series approved for the roster are the base models and the compacts. I am planning on competing in 3 gun and would like the M&PL or the M&P9 Pro Series C.O.R.E. for the longer sight radius and improved trigger. I know that you can buy the M&P9 and put the slide from a M&PL but it is extremely hard to find the components. Is there a way I can get the M&P9L or the C.O.R.E. through a PPT or possibly through a single shot exemption? Any help would be appreciated. Also I am considering the glock G34 if I can't somehow get the M&P. Any opinions on that would help too, thanks.

Thumbs up

Look into SSE (Single Shot Exemption) for handguns that are not on the roster. Basically, it just involves having an armorer install a barrel sleeve in it and you're GTG. I'm also a Cali resident and did this same thing with an M&P Shield.
