Need some links for OTW leather holster for a 9mm Shield
I can not stand IWB holsters (live in Florida and they are uncomfortable) I want a leather pancake style that pulls really close to the body. No custom made ones needed, Galco or similar is fine with me. I usually use Fobus paddle holsters which are good but stick out to far.
I have searched but there are so many it is mind boggling
Would like to hear from actually users.
Thanks!

Watching this thread. I'm a 9C carrier, and also reside in the Florida sweat box. I use Remora and Fox IWB holsters, but really would prefer an OWB option. Difficult to determine which one will hold securely, hug tight to hip, and have minimal print. I'm a lefty, which also presents challenge when looking at off-the-shelf offerings.

You should take a look at Defensive Line Leathers. I ordered a holster from Tim and can't say enough. Great quality, nice fit, quick delivery and not much more than a premade holster. I'm waiting for delivery of my custom belt and will ordering another holster. Really sharp looking rigs!

I make some really nice OWB and IWB holsters for the Shield and XDS. Acually, the brunt of my OWB and IWB holster business IS in these 2 pistols.
Here is an on board ad that I have for a few of my holsters.

OWB holster for shield
I bought a Bianchi 7/7L and its marked CS9 on e bay. It fits the Shield like a glove and rides high and close. Go to e bay and search Bianchi 7 and save it and you will get e mails when one comes for sale.

I looked at the Old Faithful OWB to match my IWB, but ended up going with the FoxX OWB. Retention is great and rides well, maybe a little lower than the OF. Still concealable with an untucked shirt. Haven't worn it too much to give a full review, but the bit I have has been positive. Only curious part was that it seemed "squeaky" when I first put it on, but it could be the fresh leather of the holster (and I had a new belt). Priced great, and got to me in less than a week. They're located in Warren, MI and I'm in the UP, so as far away as TN.
Oh and COL V, I'm a lefty and they had the materials all ready to go.

Desantis has one?
I ordered one from Ray a few weeks back, so mine will be coming soon, but it's IWB. He has been beating his 6-7 week estimate so I'm getting that Christmas morning feeling.

I use a Desantis hip holster for my 40 Shield, works great. I also use a Desantis Ankle holster for the same gun.
