My mp40 does not have the threaded barrel.How do I change it and what do I need in order to change it?

You would have to be more descriptive in your objective. M & P 40 barrels just remove from the slide.

You would simply need to purchase the threaded barrel and swap it out. Check Brownell's or Storm-Lake.
