M&P Pro 9mm coming soon?
I went to my lgs in search of a Shield but ended up fondling a Pro 9L. The stock trigger was Apex like and now I want it instead of a shield but it costs $670. Is it a fair price?

I'd buy a regular M&P and put apex kit in, but that's just me. $670 is a little high but not out of this world completely unreasonable high. $550-600 for a pro series, I'd try to talk them down and if you can't start looking online.

Paid $675 for mine and it was worth every penny. I have 3 other M&Ps and it is by far my favorite.

Let your LGS know. They may match it, I know mine would do their best.

Heads up if you look and are patient you can do better, but $599 is a very reasonable price, if I had a LGS that had that price I'd probably buy it to support the local brick & mortar, BUY IT!

If you look at the online sources, $599 is about the lowest you'll find. And then add shipping. They're fairly difficult to find. None of the local shops here have any with the 5" barrel, and there were none at the gun show last weekend. An LGS was able to find one for me after looking for a couple of weeks.

I've seen them as low as $550ish with 20-30 dollar shipping & $575 with free shipping online, but none of those sources have them in stock currently and generally have sold out quickly when they are in stock considering the current political climate. Best I've seen at a brick & mortar is $600 and they had plenty in stock, so I tend to agree with you. Theoretically you could hold out and save a few bucks but who knows how long your wait will be. Considering the circumstances I'd rather buy it locally when it's that close in price and the availability is there and now vs. possibly at some point down the road.

I recently bought a CORE 40L for $615 plus tax and transfer costs, $670 all in. Had seen it for between $599 and $689 (plus taxes, Transfer and shipping).

Damn good price, I paid $650 for mine locally and it came with 3 mags (before midway got mags). I could have gotten it a little cheaper online but I thought $650.
