I'm not one to usually go out of my way to write a review on a product. But I think this company deserves some sales. I have pretty sweaty hands, and was looking for a sandpaper type grip adhesive for my Shield. I looked at the talon grips, but didn't like how they covered the entire grip.

So I searched Amazon, and found some grips by a company called Sand Paper Pistol Grips. Kind of a weird name, but the product is great. They fit exactly over where the stippling is on the stock Shield grip, and they feel great. I know some people don't like the rough granulated texture because it can rub your skin, but for me, they work great. I wear an undershirt so it doesn't bother my skin, and the rubber ones don't give as much grip as the granulated ones. They offer the rubber versions as well as others if you're interested though.

So I figured I'd make a thread and let you guys know about these grips and give you a couple pictures. They included 2 strips that you can adhere to the slide as well, but I didn't install those. And the installation on these is about as simple as it can get. Because it just covers the normal stippled areas, it's easy as hell to line up and get perfect. I haven't had them long enough to give a review on how they hold up, but I'll update if I run into any problems. But check them out if you're looking for grips.

Talon grips are a little more expensive, but they also have more grip surface, than the grips pictured. I have never tried any others brands, as I use Talon on all my handguns. Rubber for carry and granular (sandpaper) for range guns. I have had very long of the grips, and all are still firmly attached, with no peeling.

I got Traction Grips for mine and my wife's. They are very nice and provide very good traction.
