For what you got I would say you got a good deal. A couple of extra mags and your good to go.

he doesn't happen to have another he wants to sell at the price? i'd buy it! honestly, these are great shooting guns. mine was $519 new last february when guns were being bought as soon as they hit the shelves.

That's a very good price if the gun is in fairly good shape. I bought my 40C at a police supply store at LEO/Military price & it cost me $398 with 3 mags. I can also use the full size mags in it giving me a 15+1 round capacity. M&Ps are excellent handguns.

Start shopping for extra compact mags & while you're at it pick up a full size M&P40 mag or two. Then get X-Grips for the fs mags although they're not absolutely necessary.

Hi i shot it its a sweet shooting gun we live out in in the country Louisiana so i can shoot in my backyard i ordered 250 rounds tonight from palmetto state armory they was running a deal $81.95 shipping and all on 5 boxs of 50 thats 33 cents a round sounded pretty good what yall think?

Not a bad price for the ammo. Don't know where to get mags right now, I own the FS40. Where at in La, I was born/raised in Jefferson Davis Parish?

That's a great price!
Here is a little secret about the M&P C guns.....yours is a .40 you can buy the S&W .357 Sig barrel from MIDWAY for around $80.00
You can use the magazines you presently have. You can also buy the 9 mm barrel but it requires it's own magazines. I have all three caliber barrels. You can change barrels in about 15-20 seconds.

+1 on this and pickup a good holster and get into a good safety class . Also Midway USA is a good place to find mags holsters and self ammo if you can't find local. Congrats on the 40c.

No spring change is needed. You just change the barrels out as needed.

I've been very happy w/ the Federal 100 round boxes from Walmart. My M&P's eat 'em up and cheap too.
