I am about to color fill my M&P. I am doing it with crayon. Question is how do I remove it if I choose to?

Do a google search, a ton of videos should come up on you tube.

I would think a hairdryer and a paper towel quickly pressed against it until it "cools." Never tried it but that should get most of it.

Best bet, nail polish, remove with...nail polish remover. Works great on both color fill and sight dots.

Used nail polish. I don't know if I like it.

Lighter fluid, nail polish remover, paint thinner should all work

For Crayon, there's no need for nail polish remover... all you really need is a good scrub with your usual gun cleaner. After all, Crayon is only modified wax. The Hair Dryer and paper towel should also work well.

Why don't you just buy a kid's coloring book and not humiliate your gun???? LOL

Markings

I use a white grease pencil to mark lettering on my S&W blued handguns and a black grease pencil on the stainless steel ones. It can be readily removed with a paper towel and an old tooth brush.

Why use a crayon?
Simple... Crayon let's you experiment with various colors without buying a mess of polish.
Once you've decided which color you like best, remove the Crayon and THEN upgrade to Polish. :)

I think I should do this on all my quarters. I could fill every other rib along the edges with red. Then I would have really cool, tactical quarters. Every time I would put one in a parking meter, people would say "Hey! Where did you get those tacticool quarters, Man?" It would be epic.
