Shield The Way You Like It

My wife likes her Shield 9, but not the narrow grip or the white sights, as we're both in our 60's and need all the help we can get.
I put Williams Firesights, LaserMax laser and Pachmyer grip on it. Now she loves shooting it.
Left the trigger stock at 6.5lbs, as it's her carry gun.

I have not tried that brand sights before, I'll have to check them out. I do find the fiber optic sights help with getting on target quickly.

The narrow grip is what did not work for me when I held a shield when they first came out. Perhaps a grip cover would have helped reduce the grip's knife like feel in the web of my hand, but probably not since the coverage needed to be located much higher up on the grip. I ended up going with the compact size instead.

Glad to hear you have it all sorted out the way she likes it now. That is the most important part of the equation by far.

Im also from Michigan and have a guy at work that lives right by Williams Gun store in Davidson. He can't rave enough about their sights. Im thinking about trying them myself. And I've been thinking about the Pachmyer grip. Where did you order it from, and is it a certain model? Thanks

By the way, how much were the sights? And did they come as a set or did you have to purchase them individually? And how much was the grip? Thanks

Got the grip from Midway USA and it's made specifically for the Shield.

The Williams Sights came with green in the front and red in the back, but I had some fiber optic strands here and made them in reverse, which is the way we like them.

Mine's still pretty much stock.
Sights are fine, Grip is better than those on either the PF-9, LC9 or XD-S.
Only thing I've done is add Pierce pinky extension and I MAY take it off.

Odd I thought the Pachmyer grip had finger contours?
It looks like the one you installed did not.

This one is made strictly for the M&P Shield.
