Default Breaking in the wife's 9mm Shield

She didn't want to go, so I put a 100 rounds of reloads through it today.
Most at a steel swing target and some paper.

All at 7 yds.

Rapid fire 8 rounds:

Slow fire 16 rounds:

Think the low left group is me or the gun?

Default Breaking in the wife's 9mm Shield

I shoot mine an inch higher than I aim at 7 yards, but I also have aftermarket sights. If you search low left, you will find a bunch of threads. It usually seems that it goes away as people get used to the trigger.

Edited for spelling

If you are a right-handed shooter a flinch will move the muzzle left and sometimes left and down.

Do slow, deliberate fire and see if it's you...some of these M&P pistols have left the factory with sights wildly off center so it may not be you...

I don't want to rain on any bodies parade but a public pronouncement of anything but approved factory loads may well void your repair policy. Not a problem if you bought it used. Yours is gone already. We are not anonymous on the internet, and S&W is very interested in cutting costs. That's why they abandoned the 3rd gen guns.
