Extended magazine base pads for M&P 40. Looking at the 20+1 kit and had some questions that I can't find by googling them. Do they cycle like factory? How hard are they to put on and take off? Has anyone had problems with some kits? Thank you in advance!

They work fine, I use both Taran Tactical and Taylor Freelance on my 9mm, I would expect the .40 would be the same. Many competitors use these (actually all the competitors in Limited and Open) so they've been thoroughly tested. One tip, when you install them, sand a bevel on the legs of the factory follower so they don't catch the seam between the base and the mag housing as they go past it. I prefer the Taran Tactical because it doesn't require any tools to take it apart.

BK have you ever used the Mec-Gar Plus 2's? I use the Mec-Gar 20 round mags on my P226 and they are excellent. I have heard the Plus 2 extensions will fit the M&P mags but am not 100% sure if they will fit. I would prefer them over TT because they are plastic and I don't shoot competition.

Never used them, sorry. +2 doesn't interest me., The TF are +5 and TTI +6 and if that isn't enough I use the TF +11
