info on date of manufacture using serial number

Long time lurker fist time poster.
Could any of you fine young gentlemen tell me when my MP9c with a serial number beginning HRA may have been made?
I have no SKU number.

I'm not sure if the M&Pc is different from the Shield, but I do not believe the serial number has anything to do with manufacture date.

If you have the test fire case envelope, the date on it is within a week of rolling off the line.
If you don't have that, just email (or call) S&W CS, give them your serial number and they will tell you. That's what I did with my model 19.

The Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson says shipping date of 1991 for the BFT prefix. Probably close to the manufacturing date, but that date requires a specific request to Smith and Wesson.

If it's new, The label on the box should have a 6-Digit date code (somewhere)... MMDD18
If it doesn't have the 6-Digit date code, call (or email) S&W Customer Service.
