Is it possible to replace the threaded barrel on an M&P 22 pistol with a non-threaded barrel?

thanks

They don't make non-threaded barrels, just different barrel end caps. Either extended or flush.
Removing the barrel doesn't look too easy being fixed to the frame anyway. At least, removing the barrel is probably more difficult than switching the barrel end attachment.

OK, that's what I thought.

Is the thread "cap" made of steel? Thinking if it's steel it could be silver soldered to the barrel. ???

Bueller............... Bueller ............... ??? Anyone permanently affix the barrel thread "cap"?

regards
John

Not sure why you would want it to be permanent when super tight will be good enough. I'd feel sorry for whoever you gave or sold that gun to if they tried to remove it without knowing you soldered it.

Back again:

Can the threaded barrel on the M&P be replaced with a non threaded barrel? If so, part #'s please! :)

thanks
John

Dear Customer,

The only barrels we make for this model are threaded. However, unfortunately we do not sell barrels at this time.
Smith&Wesson values its customers and we are happy to have served you today. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further assistance.

Anyone try/know if the Walther barrels will work? Saw a bunch of these on the bay.

thanks
