I am considering sending my 40 shield performance center in for the action package offered by S&W. Im wondering if anyone (im certain many have) has thoughts or reviews if it is worth it?

I am very happy with the way it performs currently but, can I eek out just a little more satisfaction with some fine tuning?

Thoughts? Thanks!

This?
M&P Pistol Action Package $120
Polish Ramp
Tuned Action
Install Performance Center Sear
Test Fire for Function
Your PC Shield already has a properly tuned PC sear in it.

I sent one of my 45Cs in for the M&P Pistol Action Package. While their work is obviously covered under any S&W warranty, installing an Apex kit, and polishing a few select areas, is a lot cheaper, faster, and you'll end up with just as good, if not better, results. If for some reason you have to send the firearm back to S&W, just reinstall the stock parts. Pretty basic stuff.

What did you think of about the work, can you provide a before and after comparison? How long did it take them to do the work?

I've considered this too and was curious how it turns out?

Yes thats the one V0OBWxZS16...

I was not aware that they came with a tuned sear. I have installed the Apex kit (springs and trigger kit) in my Sigma. It was a huge improvement from the stock Sigma trigger. But, was still a heavier pull than I was looking for. But, much better non the less. Especially for the price!

The Apex set was easy to install and I am not a gun smith by any means. But, I would have no idea where, what or how much to polish if I was to attempt it my self ultratec00. So having the pros do it is probably in the best interest of my shield.

Was it worth the money when you had your 45C done?
