Shooting CCI Velocitors in M&P 22c

I have shot around 350 rnds through mine, different ammo no issues so far CCI, Remington.

Don't have a M&P22c but have shot a lot of Velocitors with no issues.

Just a guess you may have a dirty chamber if you've owned/shot for a while or if new and not thoroughly cleaned before use may have chamber with OEM preservative oil/grease.

I took delivery this morning of a new Shield .45 and was surprised at the amount of relatively heavy oil on the internals including the barrel, inside and out. Imagine might be OK for a new firearm that might sit in inventory for months and that pistol might have run just fine as rec'd but I'll never know as always clean new guns before shooting.

All I got but thinking probably not the Velocitors.

Best.

I can't help w/ an M&P22 but I love them in my Buckmark. Used to shoot some Stingers but found they are a tad longer overall than a standard 22LR. But Velocitors are the standard 22LR length w/ the same velocity specs as the Stingers. I still have some Stingers but am slowly shooting them up and replacing w/ Velocitors.

I've not had a chance to shoot my new 22C yet. Just got through reading an article about Anschutz and some other European target rifles not being able to chamber the Velocitors due to the wider band on the bullet.
I have slipped a couple of Velocitors in my other .22's w/o any problems, but they do seem to fit a little tight in my M&P 22c. With the velocity and energy, I wouldn't think there would be a problem, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks for the feedback. I will report back if I encounter any problems.
