Find the sku # and then do a Google search, ie; "m&p 11873"

Mag na port will probably port it for less than half that ( I think it's called auto port?). Check out their website. Unless you want to swap it back and forth. I was considering doing my 45 Shield but figured that with the 45 being a low pressure round it probably wouldn't have much effect.

To be honest guys, I find little difference between my M&P 9 pro series 5in, and M&P 9 CORE ported pro series 5in that I have. Maybe it has more of an effect in the smaller shield. Now with the compensator on my CZ it makes significant difference but keep in mind to make it work my 9mm loads need to be running at near max. A run of the mill self defense or target load is just not enough to drive the ports or comp on most pistol. There is always a trade off, to make those ports work you need to really drive that round.
good luck

The Ported Performance center is also milled for an optic, and that is what the pics show, although it doesn't say it in the description...but that is what the pic is...so not just the porting. I don't know that Magnaport will do the porting in the slide and barrel, mill for multiple different optics (all I have seen mill for one footprint) and give some PC Palmswells for $375 (guessing on the bargain price).
And even if they did, you still end up with no gun while it's all being done, and only one slide and barrel.
If you are a serious competitor, and looking for custom porting, with options...then Magnaport is a good choice, from what I hear and read...but I doubt you'd be asking about the PC Slide and barrel kit if that was the case.

Like Steved 13 said it is milled for an optic also which is why I ordered one. I have a 5 inch M&P pro I shoot in stock class so this allows me to use the same frame and have an open class gun for probably less than half. I only have to upgrade 1 trigger so thats about $100 less plus I can shoot open or stock. I don't expect a lot of help from the ports but it's included.

Yes Magnaport will do both slide and barrel or if you have a ported slide and add a barrel they will do that too. Turn around time is a few weeks and you pay shipping to and from. They do great work and is way, way less than a new slide. You could buy a Apex barrel, fit it and send it off to Magnaport for way less than 400 bucks and it will shoot better than any factory set up.

You might want to check your pricing or our arithmetic. Apex barrel is $200, Magnaport, porting is $145, that's $345, and we haven't milled for a Red dot yet. Definitely not "way less than $400".
Makes no difference to me, just good to have accurate info for the next person.
I agree it will probably shoot better than the factory...but they all shoot better than me anyway.

Along the lines of this, I just sent my M&P pro series slide to Mag-na-port for quad porting. And they mentioned that I might need to purchase a lighter slide spring so that the slide will fully cycle. Does anyone have experience with this?
Smith and Wesson sais that the slide spring is the same(18lbs) on both the normal pro series and the ported version, and it cycles fine. just an FYI.

The M&P9 Ported slide kit is $349.99 where a new M&P9 Ported gun is $589.99. Does not feel like the same price to me.
I ordered a ported slide kit from QT and will be putting it on one of my older M&P's. The slide from that will eventually be going onto an M&P 9C with a Hybrid adapter. The slide from the M&P 9C will be going on the classifieds section of this forum.

So the Performance Center M&P 9 Pro Series C.O.R.E. 5" Ported Slide Kit will fit on a standard FS M&P 9 frame?
