After a visit to one of my local gun stores, a Performance Center CORE M&P9 with ported barrel and threaded barrel followed me home. This is my first M&P though it is my 4th S&W handgun. My immediate issue is that I have a Vortex Venom mounted on a Springfield Armory XDM 4.5 that I'm thinking of moving to my M&P9. Unfortunately there is nothing in the instruction manual for the M&P9 that mentions which mount plate to use for the Vortex Venom RDS.

I believe it's plate #5. Been about a year since I installed mine though. The CORE and Vortex Venom are a great match!!

Plate 5 was the one that fit. My Vortex Venom is now mounted onto my MP9. Now I just need to get a replacement battery....
