Just installed Trijicon Bright and Tough Night Sights on my M&P using a MGW M&P Sight Tool.
Stock sights came off easy and the Trijicons went on easy without any filing.
Sight picture looks good for the time being until I get to the range hopefully tomorrow.

Looks Great! Always feels good to use the proper tool and make the install easy and professional.

Looks great. I have Meprolight Tru-Dot Tritium sights coming tomorrow for my 4.25" M&P 2.0 9mm. I have a Vism sight pusher that I bought a while back for Glock rear sights. I'm confident it will do the job easily.

Is there a direction(L to R, or R to L) for S&W dovetail cuts?

With the MGW 318 Specifically for M&P you have the muzzle away from you to remove the rear sight and I went L to R until I was able to remove it by hand to keep the plunger spring from falling out.
To remove the front sight you reverse the slide with the muzzle pointed toward you and I pushed it L to R
Thankfully the new sights fit in the dovetail without filing. The rear went in just enough to keep the plunger spring in while pushing it on.

Thanks seebee... I installed my Tru-Dots today, and I agree, L to R to remove the rear. My sight pusher drifted the rear out, and new sight in with ease. The front sight was trickier. I used my X-Y vice mounted on my drill press, a brass punch, hammer, and a little creative engineering. No fitting was required of either sight.
