I’m sure the 2.0 compact magazine will fit my old 9c but I was wondering if they ever came out with a spacer to fill in the gap. I would rather have a stock magazine than a mag extender. Most extenders don’t look natural to the gun with the possible exception of Hyve extenders but those cost almost as much as a new magazine. Anyone know of ways to fill in that gap? I live in Colorado so no the full size mag won’t work for me.

XGrip stated via email, to me, that they will have something out this summer. As of now nothing and with summer passing who knows their real timeline.

And I bought a XGrip knock off similar to these to practice on. Then purchased a real XGrip after I had my techique down.

Granted, not ideal, but has proven out to be a good solution.

S&W makes a full size 15 round magazine specifically for Colorado. When I bought my 2.0 compact mags were scarce and the full size 15 round magazines kept showing up in my searches.
The compact magazines would still be a better choice though. No point in carrying 15 rounds in a magazine designed for 17.

I think I read on here or the other forum where someone took an X-Grip and cut it to fit the compacts mag.
