A while back I asked if anyone had modified a xgrip to allow a 15 round 2.0 compact magazine to fit a 9c . Well here is the rough draft. It is not finished out need freaking and I learned a lot what not to do , but turned out pretty well. Fired 100 rounds so far no malfunctions with fit or firing. I really like it. 2.0 compact grip size with 9c barrel length. Best of both worlds. Will send pictures of final version when done. Trying to post picture don't know if they are showing up.
Thanks , tbirs

I really really dislike auto correct. It should read needs tweaking and signed tbird. Good thing I teach Social Studies and not English. Finally got pictures to post. Let me know if you have any ideas or tips to make it better. A few things I plan to do (tweaking). I just decided to order another take down tool to contour the fit better between the tool and the spacer. Also need to contour sides of spacer due to fact base on compact mag different from 17 round magazine. Base shorter and thinner than 17 round. Thanks for looking. tbird.

I like it! I've been thinking about doing the same thing, but just haven't taken the time lately. Whenever X-grip comes out with one, I'll be buying a couple.

Looks good!

The dilemma is: cut from the top and it won't line up with takedown tool; cut the bottom and it won't match the mag baseplate.

That mag length seems like it'd be good for winter carry under a jacket.

I like the look, please keep us posted on your progress.
I came across a guy on YouTube that is making a grip sleeve for the 15 round using a 3D printer, be interesting to see how it turns out.

Look around this forum from the last 3 weeks or so. There is someone else besides XGrip that is selling spacers. I bought some but don't have a 15 rnd mag yet.

Does anyone know if the spacers that come with the 2.0 Compact for the 17 round magazines will fit on the 15 round magazines and fit the 1.0 compact?

Or just get a Hyve +3 extended baseplate. It gives you 3 more rounds and is a little shorter than the 2.0 compact. I love the fit and feel.

Decided to build my own spacer using PVC pipe. Split a PVC pipe, heat to flatten out, then heat and wrap around my magazine, add grip tape. Works great. The 15 rnd magazine cost me $27 plus shipping and tax, add about $3 for PVC and I have my spacer for around $34. If I buy a 12 rnd magazine and HYVE +3 extension along with shipping and tax I am out about $70. Easy decision for me since I am retired and always looking for something to keep me busy. Also I like that the spacer does not reach the back of the grip. That way I have much less chance of my hand grip preventing the mag from dropping free when ejecting it.
