M&P 1.0 9mm slide and barrel on an M&P 2.0 9mm

Will a M&P 1.0 9mm full size slide and barrel work on a M&P 2.0 9mm full size frame?

The only reason I ask is I have a threaded barrel for the 1.0 and I don't want to buy another threaded barrel for the 2.0. I don't want to modify the 1.0 slide and barrel at all.

According to KKM, the barrels interchange.

Interesting; I think that's referring to KKM's barrels though, and it may not apply to S&W made barrels?

I own an M&P 1.0 9mm full size and both a non-threaded barrel and a S&W factory M&P 1.0 threaded barrel.

I read somewhere a 1.0 barrel would not work in a 2.0 pistol. If that's true then can I take the complete S&W 1.0 top (slide and either barrel) and use it on a 2.0 frame. The only reason to do that is so I don't have to buy a separate threaded barrel for the 2.0

If a 1.0 threaded barrel really will work in a 2.0 pistol then, all the better, I can just sell my 1.0 pistol with the non-threaded barrel, and keep the threaded barrel for use on a 2.0.
