Default M&P 45 recoil spring weight

I'm looking for the factory recoil spring weight on the full size 45 M&P.
I'd like to install a lighter one...
Thanks.

According to Wolff they use a 16lb spring standard. Wolff can provide a 14lb or a 15lb. You'll have to replace the guide rod too.https://www.gunsprings.com/SMITH%20&...D58/dID419#920

tomcat,

Just curious, why a lighter spring? Experimenting with loads, etc?

I've got a couple Gen 1, 4" M&P .45s and really appreciate their accuracy and reliability.

Cheers,
