I had to wait 6 weeks for this holster but it was worth it. Draw and present in less than 1 second. All edges are very nicely rounded in. Height adjustment is not as easy as my previous Alien Gear holsters, but on the other hand T1C has very small increments of adjustment available. AG holsters only have 3 positions to choose from. And T1C offers more adjustments other than just ride height, to fine tune and find what fits you best.

Any Appendix IWB holster may be a little less comfortable, in my opinion. That depends on your belly padding, of which I have very little. A guy with love handles may not feel the rig as much. But when you're seated, you can simply hike the Axis Elite up a bit so that it rides up your belly and is still quickly accessible. That beats a 4:00 holster pushing your back slightly out of alignment. I also found that a 4:00 holster will wear your leather pickup seat, carrying a duty-size weapon.

I recall the Dallas church shooting where a security team member died, taking a direct 12g blast while he tried to get his 4:00 gun drawn and presented. God bless that man for trying. With an AIWB he could have drawn while seated, unseen to the shooter.

I have a floating rib from an old car accident that makes one rib stick out, right where the top of the spare mag rides. I wish now I'd ordered the lower mag position. Tier 1 kindly agreed to help me with that, and is sending me a new mag holder side with a deeper mag well. That is xlnt customer service.

Tier 1 Concealed

I have the Tier 1 Axis slim for my G19 and absolutely love it! They do take a lot of time to get once you place your order, but it's definitely worth the wait! I am considering getting one for my Hellcat, but there are a couple of different manufacturers that I am also considering...just to see how well they stack up against Tier 1.
