Shield recoil spring colors

Hello.... Haven't been here in a while I've searched on the internet to find an answer for this.....(Forgive me if this has been repeated) have shield 2.0 9mm and shield plus 9mm....shield 2.0 has red color recoil spring! While shield plus has green color recoil spring! Im assuming different spring weights....but not sure.....anybody have a clue? And why the change?

Shield 9 1.0. Sept 2017 - Silver and unpainted. VERY difficult to rack, stiff.

9 Shield Plus early edition June 2021: Green spring. Much easier to rack but still very stiff.

9 Shield Plus just came today May 2022. Green spring but much easier to rack than the early 9 Shield Plus.

The green spring has the same amount of coils across all three Shields. The secondary spring is aluminum in color, looks unpainted

There is no question the most recent Shield9 Plus is the easiest to rack. I don't know why.

The single pic is the latest 9 Shield Plus. The dual slides has the Plus on the left, Shield 9 gen1 on the right.

Im assuming both recoil springs will work just fine, but i only see red recoil springs for replacement/sale......also something to add...original shields recoil springs worked both on 9mm and 40sw....maybe red coils needed to be stiffer to handle 40sw?
