I have a couple of 4" Shield Plus models. The recoil spring for the 4" model has orange painted on the front portion of the spring assembly.
I also have an extra recoil the spring painted the same - orange on the front 1/2.
But, I just got a second spare recoil spring - this time the orange is painted on the rear part of the recoil spring. It appears to be the same part and part #.
I assume this means nothing... That they put the spring on backwards?
Anyone else have a recoil spring with the orange paint portion is on the back end of the spring assembly?
