This has probably been answered but after several search attempts and no luck I'll just ask

Does anyone have a list of the optics that will drop on to the new shield plus OR without modification, adapters, different screws, etc?

Basically which ones can I buy and attach as is? I emailed s&w but they never got back to me.

Crimson Trace micro red dots. Some models 1550 and RAD. CT is owned by S&W.

Anything that has a Shield SMS footprint should work, but you really want to check with the manufacturer of the optic and/or do some research on any specific one.

Here's a good, but getting old, article that I have been using. It notes some modifications/exceptions for the basic Shield RMS/SMS "standard."

Do the Holosun 507K’s come with an adapter?

No they don't.

A nice red dot for the shield plus is the Mecanik M01 micro reflex sight. I have one for my Canik elite sc and also plan to get one for my shield plus.

A J Point will mount directly on to your Shield Plus.

First, I have a Shield Plus on order, coming n tomorrow. I have bought the Holosun 507k, CT RAD Micro Pro, CT RAD Micro.

I think I like the CT RAD Pro Micro the best. The Holosun has a smaller lens, has just a bit more distortion and at arms length, the reticle is huge which makes seeing other things like the target, hard.. I’m also concerned the plate has no nubs for the 507, the 507’s rear deck height is taller and the lack of auto brightness could be a concern….or maybe the CT auto bright and shake awake were just so well setup.

I do worry that I’m giving up quite a bit of waterproofness, easy side battery tray and Holosun reputation. I think I’m going with the CT RAD Micro Pro.

If I’m deciding wrong, why should I go with the 407/507 or something not on my radar yet?
