What would be a good price to pay for an average to above average condition M&P .40 caliber full size version 2.0?

Also, is the 2.0 model compatible with an aftermarket .357 Sig barrel?

Thank you in advance for your comments.

In my experience (and according to the Brownells video) the full size 4.25" M&P 1.0 & 2.0 barrels interchange. As do the recoil spring assemblies.

Cheers!

The last two full size M&Ps that I picked up were LEO trade ins that I paid $300 each for.

Both pistols were in the original S&W boxes in unissued condition with three mags and night sights dated two years ago

I personally have no desire to own a 40. So these were 357SIG pistols, not 40s.

My .40 cal 2.0 Compact 4" and 3.5" barreled pistols both shoot just fine with their respective .357 SIG conversion barrels. These are true "drop-in and shoot" conversions. The only parts you need are the proper magazines. KKM also sells a .40 cal-to-9mm 4" conversion barrel - also drop-in.

While I bow to your practical experience re fitment, I read that the geometry of the locking area on the 2.0 barrels is different, supposedly to increase the time the action stays locked. Is this true?

I would have to refer you to your source for confirmation (having no practical way to measure the lock time)...

I do know they work.

Cheers!
