I don't have this model myself OP, but there are a few members here who are complaining about the same thing.
There was a member that Smith and Wesson sent him a new front grip and it seemed to tighten things up but he was worried about it coming loose again.
There's another member here who slide moves quite a bit when he dry fires it also, but I don't know if I would correspond with him here if I were you because he's a grumpy old *** who thinks his s**t doesn't stink, and all he'll do is belittle you for buying that pistol even though he owns one himself.
