Just picked up a M&P .45, and am having a hard time finding a holster. I’m looking for leather, OWB, 1-3/4 belt, pancake style with a thumb break. Anybody got a suggestion?

I was looking for the same thing for my M&P 45. I went with Azula. I have a couple of Craft pancake holsters with thumb break for a couple of other guns that are very nice. Hard to beat Don Hume though.

Don Hume is still in Miami, Oklahoma. Azula is made in South Africa, Craft is in Slovakia. Something to consider if American made is your preference.

I have an Azula two slot for my 45 Shield and I'm pretty happy with it. It seems to be well made especially for the price. I was not aware that they were made in South Africa. The only address they show is in North Carolina. I have zero regrets buying my Azula.
2 Slot Thumb Break Pancake Belt Holster – Azula Gun Holsters

One of mine is stamped on the back Made in South Africa. I don't really have a problem with that. My son had bought a couple a year or so ago and I was impressed. I've ordered two and was impressed with how quick they got here. The Craft holsters I got from eastern Europe took a few weeks. I wouldn't even bother to point it out because of the quality of their holsters, but some people prefer American made. I don't have a problem with that either. For a lot of things I prefer it myself.

I’ve got a Desantis leather pancake with thumb break that I’ve been happy with so far.

Try MTR Leather, Tucker Gunleather, or El Paso Saddlery. If you should decide on Kydex Muddy River Tactical

I have 3 of these for my pistols and have no complaints. They are good quality and a fair price.
