Bodyguard 2.0 pocket holster
I tried to search for this and didn't find anything, so if there is already an applicable thread I apologize in advance.
My LGS has a Bodyguard 2.0 NTS on order for me and I hope to get in the not too distant future. I have been pocket carrying my M&P Bodyguard in a leather lined Remora, but wonder if that holster will work for the 2.0? If it does I'll use it, but if not I'm curious if anyone has found an acceptable pocket holster for it? Also, IWB holster suggestions would be appreciated as well.
Thanks for any input!

I do not have 1st hand experience but this pic is from the website called handgun Hero that compares various handguns. It looks as if it will work. My M&P Bodyguard .380 in my cloth lined Remora has a small amount of play in the trigger guard area and the length on the Bodyguard 2.0 should just give the holster a tad better grip access. If you try it, please let us know.

i just ordered one from Alabama Holster, and I'm sure hoping that it is acceptable.
P.S. Well, I did get one but don't find it to be particularly pocketable.

I ordered one from AH as well. Unti it arrives I have a DeSantis 'Trickster' leather pocket holster that is serving surprisingly well, looks like a wallet in my back pocket.

I just got an Uncle Mike's Pocket Holster Size 3 for my BG 2.0 and it seems to work very well. Some like to rag on UM's but their pocket holders for me seem to work well. They cover the trigger, stay in the pocket when I draw and are super thin. The other pocket holsters I've tried for small guns like the Nemesis & Sticky all seem to be too big - the ones with the fin/hook that is there to keep gun upright and the holster in place seem to just turn a discreet carry pistol into a huge pocket bulge that doesn't feel comfortable.

Vedder Holsters lists their kydex pocket holster for the Bodyguard 2.0 without thumb safety. I have a few of theirs and like them.

Remora makes some fine pocket holsters. Very sticky too, they can function IWB.

I use UM size 3 & 4 for all my J-frame revolvers. They are thin and work well for concealed carry. Band that goes around the outside easily prevents the trigger from being poked or pulled. If they wear out after a a few years, they are cheap enough to replace. I consider them disposable.

Not a pocket holster but my go to company Muddy River Tactical for a simple comfortable leather holster.

The Remora I have for the original M&P Bodyguard has the optional leather lining. I have others with the fabric lining. You can make that choice when ordering.

Interesting. Not listed as compatible with the S&W Bodyguard 2.0

Not arguing, lol. Can you share what model you bought? Or the issue is that they have not updated their listing on their website?

Tried a new Uncle Mike's #3. The gun fits well and will work in the pocket, but the edge comes up too high between the trigger guard and and the grip undercut making it difficult to get a good high grip out of the holster. I found putting a thumb over the rear of the slide helps with a smoother draw as it prevents the rear sight from snagging on a pocket and pulls the gun up away from the holster allowing for a somewhat better grip. Still not the answer. Hope someone comes out with something BG specific soon.

Actually, there's only model. Either your handgun in question fits or it doesn't. Fortunately for me, the BG2.0 *does* fit.
I have no idea why their listing doesn't mention the BG2.0.
It's on Amazon for $25.99.

I bought one and really like the fit, but the holster comes out of the pocket of my cargo shorts (top/side pocket) with the gun. Pressure against the leg as recommended by Sticky Holsters doesn't work with my bird legs. The only thing that helps is using my middle finger at the top of the grip in the undercut to nudge it downward during the draw, then it stays put. The Uncle Mike's #3 stays in my pocket, but I can't get an ideal grip as the top of that holster covers the undercut. Not a deal breaker but at least it stays in my pocket.

I have Cabala's 7 pocket hiker pants, which have big pockets too. I push the holster against the back of the pocket and it pops right off when drawing.

I picked one up last week and love it! For the holster I ordered a Vedder IWB Kydex, however I wanted to get a leather holster sooner than the Vedder would arrive. I did a search and found Muddy River Tactical and they make a leather holster for the new Bodyguard 2.0. so I purchased it. was like $30 and this is the most comfortable holster I have ever owned especially for this firearm. Dont even realize it is there. Best of luck my friend. You will love the new 2.0! IWB Leather Holster - Made in U.S.A. - Fast Same Day Shipping!

There are a lot of holster makers that are members of two groups on Facebook and they do a nice job in leather and Kydex:
S&W Bodyguard 2.0
Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0

Despite some trepidation at ordering from a guy with no website who just posted on Reddit, I went ahead and ordered a Bodyguard 2.0 holster from Chandler Holsters. Kydex, with a leather panel to break up the outline. Turnaround time was about 2 weeks, and the holster was $40 including shipping. I'm super impressed with mine. The leather panel is removable, and it fits better in my pocket with it removed, but it's nice to have the option and the price is right anyway. Mike is also very responsive. To order just email [email protected]
I am in no way involved with this business, just a happy customer. Pics and details available on his original reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/SmithAndWes...rd_20_holster/

I ordered a kydex pocket holster from PJ Holsters, it works well for me and the price was quite reasonable. I think delivery took about 2-3 weeks.

Any pocket holster made for the LCP Max should work for the Bodyguard 2.0.

For my money, the Alabama Holster is the best kydex pocket holster on the market. They make them for the Bodyguard 2.0 with or without the thumb safety.

My EDC's all ride in a DeSantis Super Fly or Nemesis when pocket carried. They do make both models for the Bodyguard 2.0. Stiffer than the nylon/fabric models with full trigger protection, no print concealment, and stays in the pocket on the draw. I have no affiliation other than a satisfied customer. For me, just the best pocket holsters on the market in my opinion.

I finally received my 2.0 from my LGS today and I felt the Remora I use for my other M&P BG was a bit too loose. I went to Remora's website and they now show a "2BG" holster specifically for the 2.0, so I ordered one with a leather lining. I'll let everyone know how it fits when I get it. As you can probably tell, I'm a Remora fan.

I actually have a Remora that I should give a try. I don't find the Alabama to be particularly pocketable, at least for me.

Bodyguard 2.0 pocket holster
I have been using the one that came with my Ruger LCP Max. It fits pretty well and covers the trigger guard. Not at all bulky. If you pull slightly backward on the draw, it'll stay in your pocket (usually!). I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

They also come with thumb safety. Do you prefer without? I’d so, why?

I finally received my Remora 2BG (They're located in Florida). The pistol fits snugly and is covered well. I believe it will work fine, but it is thicker than a kydex holster would be. Thanks for all the replies!

My first option is always to go to my bag-O-holsters, and see if I have anything that will work. I don't care for pocket carry, so there aren't any of those there, but I found a leather Bianchi IWB I had bought for a Walther PPK/S I had at one time. Almost a perfect fit, maybe a little long for the BG-2, but otherwise, great.
Model number is 100, size is 09.
I'm not even looking anymore.

I've got a Sticky SM2. Pistol fits nicely with the trigger completely covered, but the rear sight sticks up quite a ways and is not covered at all.
