Bodyguard 2.0 pocket holster

I think kydex is much more likely to wear holes in your pocket because of the abrupt edges most of them have.
You brought up a couple of excellent observations for pocket carry.

The issue of printing is a concern with pocket carry. For me with the kydex holster, the "printing" area is mostly the grip model. With just about everyone carrying a cell phone now, I don't think the average person is going to be analyzing the shape of an object inside a pants pocket. I am way more conscientious of potential printing when wearing my P365 Micro in a Mitch Rosen OWB at 3 o'clock.

I did not think about the potential issue with a holster wearing the fabric inside my pocket.
I felt my Muddy River Tactical kydex pocket holster and it is surprisingly very smooth. The sharpest "edge" is the rear sight. The roughest feeling area is grip module.

The weight of the BG2 inside my pants pocket will certainly increase fabric wear, but I'd rather replace a pair of pants than carry the pistol inside my pocket with a flexible holster.

Any pocket holster made for the LCP Max should work for the Bodyguard 2.0.

I have been using the one that came with my Ruger LCP Max. It fits pretty well and covers the trigger guard. Not at all bulky. If you pull slightly backward on the draw, it'll stay in your pocket (usually!). I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

I’ve tried many different pocket holsters and have settled with the Pocket Concealment System Blackbird. It’s for the LCP max but fits the bg2 perfectly. Very high quality leather that conceals well, is just as safe as kydex but is also more comfortable to pocket than kydex.

My biggest gripe with most kydex holsters is needing to “pre-draw” or pop the pistol out before drawing. The PCS holster doesn’t need that, and it never comes out with the pistol.

The hook on my Kydex holster insures it never leaves my pocket during the draw.

For you the "pre-draw" is a bug. I see it as a feature. :giggle: Having fingers on the grip and having no friction on drawing is a good thing in my book. But I agree with you on not liking the holster coming out of the pocket with the pistol. My Alabama Holster does sometimes follow the gun out of the pocket if I don't pre-draw. But that may be due to the shape and size of my pocket or the way I draw. It's nice to have options.

I had never heard of this holster company before, but just looked up the specific holster you're referring to. While it looks nice, the photo they show of a Walther PPK, shows the mag release on the gun completely exposed, which I'm sure would be a negative for some folks here. Accidental premature mag release in the pocket has been a common complaint I see when people talk about pocket carry of the BG2. Unless the holster for the LCP Max is different, then that would be a different story.

The design of the Muddy River Tactical kydex pocket holster is as good as I want for a pocket carry.
I would not carry a pistol in my pocket holster if the mag release was exposed, and the trigger guard was not completely enclosed.
Holsters are like toilet paper.... you have to pick one that feels good and gets the job done.:)
