Chris has been extolling the virtues of the BG 2.0 for some time now. He seems convinced that this is the best pocket gun ever. (And when he sticks it in his pocket without a holster, it does NOT have a round in the chamber) See 10:50 in the video.

I shot a dirty rental BG 2.0 after seeing all the hype online, and I came to the conclusion that as far as the shooting experience, the hype was real.

If I didn't have snubnose revolvers filling my pocket carry/around the house niche, I probably would've bought one.

I like his channel and his reviews seem good. I think he has good practical advice and a great way of presenting it.

FWIW, I don't agree with carrying without a round in the chamber nor do I agree with carrying it without a holster. I'm sure he's pretty upset about my disagreeing with him too! LOL

The rental gun here shot fine. I would want rubber tape on the butt, but so do my present pocket guns. Could I be sure of buying one as good?

It seems to me that the more recent ones build late 2024 or early 2025 are less prone to having issues. But I don't know that for a fact.

I'm sure he's deeply disturbed by your disapproval. :)

I think he usually carries it in an IWB holster. I've never seen him with a pocket holster, but he has mentioned that when he is making a quick trip in light clothing, he just puts it in his pocket without a round in the chamber. FWIW, he's one guy who can reliably cycle the side quickly under stress.

Also FWIW, I agree with you on carry options. I'm sure this brings joy to your heart. :)

Beyond all measure!

I’ve watched his videos on his YouTube channel for the past 5 years. His reviews and commentary are interesting. He always comes off as smart-arse, highly experienced gun-dude. Lots of profanity to make his opinions more real.

A couple years ago I posted a comment about one of his reviews, he deleted my post.

So, I assumed he doesn’t accept a different opinion about his Bravo Sierra.

Those guys that drop guns to see what breaks, drown them water, and put mud in them, and all stupid environmental testing, is idiotic.

He didn't mentioned anything about his BG2 out of the box issues, so I assumed his BG2 out of the box was PERFECT. :D

Profanity? I don't recall hearing that in his video's...maybe I'll need to listen a bit closer.

Just made the switch from the LCP MAX to the BG2. I had done a load of work and never had any issues with it, but the grip on the BG2 is just so nice. Going to get it ready for a range session on Wednesday. I did watch his video on it, but like all reviews I took it with a grain of salt.

Enjoy! It's a fun pistol to shoot and carry.

Yes, I agree. But what impresses me is that he carries it himself. Chris shoots almost every pistol, AR, and PCC that comes on the market. If he chooses that to carry, he believes what he is saying about the Bodyguard 2.0

My only consistent gripe with the BG2.0 remains the magazines; some have enough room to be locked in while fully loaded (10 or 12), against a closed slide. Others do not.
But mine run fine, and really fit my hand. This last may be its best feature.
