Are you still waiting for M&P magazines from the S&W "Holiday Handgun Promotion"?
I bought my M&P .45 in November. It has been SEVEN MONTHS since I sent in my rebate coupon. Whenever I call I get a "We just got some in, you'll have them in two weeks." The first time I called was in February. That isn't two weeks, that is FOUR MONTHS. I don't believe them anymore. Does anyone have the name of someone I can talk to at Smith & Wesson who can do something about it?

Mag Rebate
I sent the rebate in for my 2 free mags in April and received them a a few weeks ago. I got mine under the Load Up Promotion don't know if this makes a difference, but here is a link that I used to check the status while I was waiting. Hope it helps.

I bought my M&P9C in April of 2008, sent in the rebate paperwork immediately and received the mags in September. It takes awhile. I'm sure S&W gives magazine priority to new production pistols, so availability of the free mags would depend on sales volume for the new production. Apparently sales have been brisk.
They'll get to you eventually. Just remember, the price is right.

I'm sorry, but SEVEN MONTHS is NOT reasonable! Midway has them for sale, so S&W is obviously just ignoring its promises.

A couple of days ago I called Smith & Wesson again. I was given the extension of the customer service person who handles the Promotion programs. I left a couple of messages, and he just got back to me today. Evidently there was a data entry problem at the place that received my holiday promotion coupon, because they didn't have my address right (the post office box number was slightly wrong). I didn't ask them why they didn't call me when they found out the mailing address didn't work. He assured me he would see the magazines were sent out. I'll update this and let you know if they arrive or if this is an empty promise. Right now I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but then again my wife says I'm always too forgiving of people.

that's the unfortunate thing. It taking 7 months for them to put you with the right person. But at least it was finally someone who cared rather that a minimum wage help desk teck. Not that I'd wish it on you, but were something similar to happen, I'd suggest either and email or a letter. I got my .40VE with a mag promo a while ago and they delayed for 'backlogs' at the manufacturing site. But an email got a reasonable answer and a timely pair of mags.
For some reason they seem to take the written word more seriously. Besides if you get PO'd enough, a letter to the Chairman/Director/President works wonders.

A little less than a week after I spoke to the guy, my magazines arrived by mail. I'm finally satisfied!

I sent in the coupon for my free magazines in April. I called S&W customer support in July and was told I would receive them in August. I called in late August and was told I would receive them in September. OK, we shall see...
Update--Magazines received September 24th.
