Ive been looking into triggers which will be my next purchase but whats the best.

I have seen many talk about the geissele triggers and have heard great stuff ar10 and ar15

Im ok with around the 200$ area for Quality.

I have searched on here and didn't come across a thread dedicated to the triggers just talk here and there.

Thanks for any input.

Geissele is the best AR trigger you can buy. I personally like the SSA-E model, and run them in all my AR's. Nice, clean break, 3.75 lb, 2 stage, but short first stage so you can run it fast if you want.

I kinda like the idea of a single stage but i see tons of you all running the two stage.

whats your guys main use?

SSA-E all day long here. I will never use a single stage trigger again if I don't have to. I love the short take up and crisp break. You definitely know when she's gonna pop.

I know I'm the contrary opinion here, but I've been putting Timney triggers in my AR's because my preference is for a clean single stage unit. I run their 4 lb triggers, but it's available in 4.5 lb and 3.5 lb pulls. I think it's the best, but the argument between single and two stage triggers is a religious debate that no forum thread will settle. Bottom line - if you want a single stage trigger, I can whole-heartedly recommend the Timney. If you prefer a two-stage trigger, Geissele is highly recommended by our fellow shooters...

Hunting, carbine classes, defense, general use. The Geissele is unique in the 2-stage trigger market because of how short the first stage is. If you slow down, you can run it like a 2-stage, but the first stage is short enough that you can run it like a single stage by just pressing.

One of the single stage triggers from ALG Defense (Geissele) may suit your needs for much less money.

I went ahead and dove into the SSA-E picked it up new for 200.

Reading here and on snipers hide Tons of great feedback on this guy!

Thank god! Had been waiting for a deal on the SSA-E trigger. Placed the order and received tracking # about 2 hours later. Only note this as I have primarily purchased from PSA in the past so was not used to such prompt service/shipping..
anyway
IMO you would not be disappointed with a Geissele trigger

dang 180 now thats a deal. could have saved even more money. but still happy at 200. mine in on its way hope to have it tomorrow.

THIS ^

Our dept. just swapped out the triggers on the issued Olympic guns for these, and they are very nice for a single stage. They are coated NiB, and have a very smooth release.
I didn't know ALG was part of Geissele, but I can beleive it having pulled on one of these single stagers.
