You clean the stampings that you want to color in with rubbing alcohol...shake the touch up paint real well, paint in the area trying to just cover what needs to be covered let dry for about 10 minutes and wipe with a paper towel to take off as much excess as possible, where it is thin looking, shake your paint well and apply some more paint to those areas try not to apply too much but get the stampings filled in. Let the paint dry, 2 to 4 hours. take a Mr. Clean Magic Erasure ( a house cleaning product my wife keeps em under the sink) and buff it till the excess is gone, the finish on the rifle is a lot harder than the Mr Clean sponge looking thing. when you are done all the extra paint will be gone but the stampings will be filled in. quick and easy. I promise if I can do it anyone can. I didnt use any paint thinner or fingernail polish remover it smears and softens the paint. Thats how I did it on all the pieces, sometimes you have to do it a couple of times to get everything filled in with enough color to get it to where you want it. If you have any questions just ask!!!!
