RAM ammunition
I picked up 100 rounds of RAM ammo, day before yesterday. Brass cases, new not reloads, all 55 grain, 50 FMJ and 50 V-max ballistic tip. It was $40 out the door which I think is a good price because after shipping I am paying that much for russian ammo. Does anyone have any experience with it? I have been unable to find any reviews on it and the only other info has been people are buying it at gunshows.

I've used some RAM ammunition before. Usually buy it at a gun show, and only when I just bought a gun that I have no ammo for already. Never had a problem with it.
I had bought a box of 50 each 223 and 556, was sold for 16 bucks a box, all of it was stamped from Lake City 09.
I had also bought some in 9mm and I believe I bought some in 40 s&w and .380. I was a little skeptical of the pistol rounds being new (as advertised), because I notice mixed brass in the box.
It's certainly cheaper than Walmarts 100 rnd value pack of federal at 39.97, but then again, Walmart sells the same federal in 20 round packs for 5.97.... makes sense, not, but that's pretty cheap. And it's not wonder they are always sold out of the 20 rnd boxes. I'm sure everyone else is like me, when they find them in stock, they just buy the entire inventory, usually only 10 to 15 boxes in stock at a time.

I havent seen that deal at our WallyWorld but I will keep my eyes open, but I thought the ballistic tip new ammo for $22 for 50 was a good price so I bought it. I also picked up 2 20 round boxes of federal 5.56x45 just to see how much different it shot.
