Slim profile handguards
Looking to replace my handguard, I'd like a quad rail and for it to be as narrow as possible, I have small hands and find that the stock handguard is kind of beefy. Not looking to break the bank either, I'd appreciate any and all suggestions.
Thanks, Rick

the side rails cannot be removed...but the fit is excellent and with some ladder covers from the same dealer your price is pretty good and it stays smaller than rubber covers. If you look at my last pics, I made a thread just cannot remember the name right now you will see it on my rifle with rubber covers...I have the ladders coming

thunderchicken...I just spoke with Omega tactical and the ladder covers they sell fit the handguard I bought, thats who I ordered from and they do not make the handguard thicker like the UTG ones do. I like the feel of the UTG's but they are just too darned big. More parts to sell to the local kids with the used colts and bushmasters from the guy in Jetmore Ks. I have a market going for the stuff that doesnt work for me which makes my experiments less expensive thank heaven.

You wouldn't by any chance have a height/width measurement would you?

Use to have UTG covers but have now whiched to low profile ladders. UTG covers would shift when firing, made the hold uncomfortably big and added unwanted weight.

This is what i have on my Bushmaster. Have not shot it yet. but if my research was good, it is the lightest non-free float rail out there. it is 2.3 in wide.

I was just measuring with a tape measure eyeballing the alignment. let me get out my calipers ok 2.40" wide and 2.37 inches tall.
The UTG covers make it 2.84 inches wide

Oneyeopn, Sir I have to thank you for recommending that T7 quad rail. Just what I was looking for and at a great price as well. The ladder rails are perfect, hardly adds any additional thickness and actual adds some texture for better purchase on the handguard. Now I need to get a bipod adapter.

PB, I can tell you that on my DPMS upper it is tight, no play at all, the top rail is flush with the receiver rail.
